These terms and conditions are the only warranty, express or implied, that is included in all transactions, and supercedes any implied warranty of merchantability or other warranty.
Purchasing
When purchasing from magnaroute LLC you are entering into a purchase agreement whereby you agree to purchase the documented equipment in your cart. We only list items that are in stock to avoid backorder situations, however we cannot be held responsible for errors in our online inventory count. Should an issue occur with inventory levels you will be notified immediately.
Payment
magnaroute LLC requires payment for purchases prior to shipping product(s) ordered through this web store. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal as forms of payment.
Sales Tax
We charge sales tax for purchases that are delivered within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Massachusetts State sales tax is 6.25% of purchases, unless a form ST-4 is submitted for resale purchases.
Shipping
Our primary carrier is FedEx and that is the only choice offered through our web store at this time. Shipments are typically processed within 24 hours. We process all emails and shipments at night. We hope to offer shipping on your account in the future through the web store as well as blind drop ship capabilities.
Quality
magnaroute LLC believes in providing the highest quality refurbished and new genuine Cisco gear possible. or used equipment or components, we thoroughly test all equipment when it arrives and before it is put into stock. We engage actively with Cisco's Brand Protection division when we believe that counterfeit Cisco equipment has been received. The bottom line to our customers is this: we do not tolerate illegal counterfeit equipment and neither should you! If you suspect you have received counterfeit equipment from a vendor on eBay or otherwise, we would be happy to provide you with a quick assessment through email with digital images.
Our fan products are all manufactured by top-tier fan manufacturers such as Delta, Sunon, and NMB. Our memory products are typically refurbished memory that is tested in a RAMCHECK memory tester. Our flash products are third party (if noted) or Genuine Cisco used product. In either case the flash is tested in a custom flash testing unit developed at magnaroute LLC and performs a 5-pass read/write test on each module.
Warranty
Fan kits carry a standard 1 year replacement guarantee against defects or failure. On flash and memory products we provide a lifetime warranty against failure. All other products are covered by a standard 60-day warranty against failure, starting on the date of arrival.
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If the product simply does not work properly, and it is not due to incompatibility then we will repair or replace it within 14 days. If we cannot repair or replace it within 14 days we will offer a refund, minus the original and return shipping. Upon receipt of said non-functioning equipment, if we find it to be in good working order we will consider it a functioning return, and will either send the equipment back to you at your cost, or refund your PayPal transaction minus all fees (shipping, listing, final value) and minus a 20% restocking fee. If the item returned is missing parts or has different serial numbers, no repair or refund will be offered and the equipment that was returned becomes our possession, and if the value of what was returned is less than the item that was shipped, we will prosecute to reclaim losses.
We are not responsible for incompatibility issues in your destined environment. Returns are not accepted for incompatibility reasons. Please ask all your questions up front before purchase, and consult the documentation links that are usually provided to ensure the item will be compatible with your destined environment.
Licensing
The responsibility of relicensing your purchase and remaining compliant with the Cisco Software License Agreement is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Many people ask us what this means. The Cisco Software License Agreement requires the purchaser of used Cisco hardware to also purchase the right to use the software on the equipment. This is typically done with a relicensing part number from Cisco. The equipment you purchased used may have any variety and version of software loaded, depending on what it arrived with. Most equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls will function normally without relicensing, however you are legally obligated by the Cisco Software License Agreement to relicense the software yourself. We offer relicensing and support contracts which are purchased directly from, and fulfilled by Cisco. We are not an authorized Cisco reseller, and cannot perform equipment inspections for SMARTnet.
Privacy
We do not share our customer list with any third party mailing groups. We do sometimes share information about our customers on a sale-by-sale basis with other vendors for the sole purpose of completing that sale to our customers satisfaction. For example, if you order Cisco SmartNET coverage for a router we will share information about your purchase with Cisco, and possibly also with a purchasing agent for the SmartNET coverage. In other words, we treat your personal information in the manner we would want ours to be treated as a consumer.
